Open hearts, open minds, open doors

Being Christ's hands and feet in Charleston and around the world

We know that it is important to live out our faith through missions. Locally, we’ve worked the elderly, the disabled, and children in need.
Spring Break Mission Trip:
Every spring we take a mission trip to either a rural or urban setting in the U.S.
Previous Mission Trips:
  • 2018 - Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) in Altamont, TN: We worked with a woman in the community who needed a roof on her porch, so she could keep firewood dry. We also helped prepare Mountain T.O.P.'s two camps for their Youth Summer Ministry and Adults In Ministry programs.
  • 2016 - Atlanta, Georgia to work with individuals experiencing homelessness. Work included a day at an urban farm, two homeless ministries, and MediShare (medical supply ministry to third world hospitals).
  • 2015 - Appalachia Service Project in West Virginia. Worked on two homes rebuilding porches and putting up underpinning
  • 2014 - New York City food scarcity and Hurricane Sandy clean-up. We spent three days working at various food pantries and feeding ministries. Then our last two days were on Staten Island where we repaired homes damaged by the hurricane.
