Missions

Being Christ's hands and feet in Charleston and around the world

We know that it is important to live out our faith through missions. Locally, we’ve worked the elderly, the disabled, and children in need.

Spring Break Mission Trip:
Every spring we take a mission trip to either a rural or urban setting in the US.

Previous Mission Trips:
2016 - Atlanta, Georgia to work with individuals experiencing homelessness. Work included a day at an urban farm, two homeless ministries, and MediShare (medical supply ministry to third world hospitals).
2015 - Appalachia Service Project in West Virginia. Worked on two homes rebuilding porches and putting up underpinning
2014 - New York City food scarcity and Hurricane Sandy clean-up. We spent three days working at various food pantries and feeding ministries. Then our last two days were on Staten Island where we repaired homes damaged by the hurricane.
2012 and 2013 - George County Habitat for Humanity, Lucedale, Mississippi.
